Exercise: Eating the proper foods by itself is not always sufficient
to lead to a healthy body. Exercise must be a part of that formula. Exercise
also does not mean spending hours in the gym, moderate exercise in
combination with healthy eating habits can accomplish the same goal. So, try
to engage yourself in moderate daily activity such as taking the stairs instead
of the elevator to work, cleaning your pool instead of hiring someone to do
it, walking with your family when the temperature cools down preferably at
night, or any of the other activities listed below All of these small
activities can count in reducing your chances for heat disease, stroke,
diabetes, or high blood pressure Drive less and try to walk or pike when it
is possible, Take the stairs instead of the elevator Clean the house Do
exercises or pedal a stationary bike while watching television, play with

eating habits are healthy. To determine that, keep a diary of all of the food
that you eat for three days. Below you will find a table of such that you
would use as a reference. First, list all the foods that you ate during the
day categorized by the food type and write the number of serving of each.
Look at the food guide pyramid and determine how you did. Are you eating the right number of serving for each food group? If not, you need to adjust that by either increasing portion or decreasing it to reach the ideal quantity.
